Answers about the 71st Annual Youth Camp

Camp Registration Fees?

Registration ₹100 per member; Meals ₹500 per member (some parishes: ₹300 + ½ kg lentils); Accommodation ₹250 per parish; Membership ₹30 per member; Competition entry ₹50 per participant (where applicable).

Camp Rules and Conditions:

  • The time duration for all competitions and programs is fixed. The Central DCYM Committee reserves the right to make changes or improvements to the rules and conditions, which will be informed during the camp.
  • Camp participants should bring the following items with them: Bible, songbook, parish flag, notebook, pen, plate, glass, mosquito net, warm clothes, bedding, musical instruments, and a prayerful mind.
  • Youth are encouraged to bring an offering for “Youth Thanksgiving”.
  • Any member violating camp discipline will be immediately expelled from the camp and debarred from participation for the next three years.
  • Names of participants attending the camp must be submitted to the organizing committee by October 12, 2025.
  • The name list of the camp participants must include signatures verified by the Parish President.
  • Members suffering from any infectious disease should not attend the youth camp.

  4. Duet Song Competition
  5. Costume Competition (1 boy + 1 girl)
  6. Instagram Reel Competition (Individual)
  7. Mr. & Miss DCYM (1 boy + 1 girl)
  8. CTH “Creative Talent Hunt”
    • Story Writing as per Camp Theme (1 candidate from each parish)
    • T-Shirt Painting as per Camp Theme (2 candidates from each parish)
    • Hand-Art (Bag, Embroidery/Kadhai), Nature or Tribal Art (2 candidates from each parish)
    This is a homework competition.

Competition Rules

Rules: Choir / Group Song / Group Dance / Duet
Theme-based items get bonus marks. Only Christian songs. Live instruments permitted.
Time limits: Group Song – 5 min, Group Dance – 5 min, Duet – 3 min.
Submit lyrics copy if asked.

Rules: Bible & GK Quiz
Mandatory for every parish. Written format.
Syllabus: Bible history (esp. CNI) & GK/Current Affairs up to 17 Oct 2025.

Rules: Costume Competition (Paridhan)
One boy and one girl per parish. Prepare according to announced tribal/ethnic categories (e.g., Ho, Munda, Oraon, Santhal, Gond, Kharia, Kurukh, etc.).

Rules: Instagram Reel
Individual entry; must relate to this camp. Submit via official DCYM Instagram only.
Vertical 9:16 (1080×1920). Max 90 seconds.
Final posting deadline: 20 Oct 2025, 6:00 PM.

Rules: Mr. & Miss DCYM
Three rounds; past winners cannot participate.
Round 1: Written (Bible & ethics, GK, CNI).
Round 2: Personality/Introduction.
Round 3: Final (Top 10: 5 boys + 5 girls) interview & on-stage task.
